Irlanda Trujillo is a self-taught image maker devoted entirely to analog photography. Her work, whether focused on people or places, is grounded in a sense of vulnerability. Using film, she restores a feeling of intimacy that can be lost in modern image-making. She often incorporates in-camera multiple exposures to create soft, abstract images with emotional depth.

At the core of FICE Gallery is the desire to showcase and celebrate artists, near and far. Hanging their work on our gallery walls, painting the back alley or performing live music - we are fortunate to have hosted a variety of artists, performers and multi-disciplinary creatives throughout our years in downtown Salt Lake City, and plan to continue that for as long as we are here.
